Sample website audit reports

Two real audits: a B2B marketing site and an online shop. The names have been replaced, but the original measurements and scores are retained.

These PDFs are samples of the audit report, not of the full delivery.

A full order includes three PDFs: the audit report, the page-by-page analysis and the methodology note.

What a website audit report contains

Both reports follow the same outline as every report we deliver:

  • a summary you can read without a technical background: the verdict in one sentence, what needs quick action, the strengths and the points to watch;
  • the overall score out of 100, the findings that weigh most, then the score and weight of each of the 9 pillars;
  • a pillar-by-pillar section: a summary, then the measurements, the pages concerned and the values recorded;
  • a section per language, when the audit covers more than one;
  • an appendix with a summary of the pages analyzed, the technologies detected and a glossary.

The two reports side by side

Both sites are scored on the same 9 pillars, with a different grid: the weight of each pillar depends on what the site is for.

A score of 80 or more reads “good,” 50 to 79 “needs improvement,” and below 50 “priority fix.” The audit methodology explains how scores and weights are set.
