Cookies
This site sets no cookie without your agreement. If you consent, one advertising measurement cookie (Google) tells us whether our ads bring visitors who order. Nothing else is measured, and saying no changes nothing about your visit.
Payment happens on Stripe’s own pages, where their cookie policy applies, on their domain.
Counting visits
We count visits to this site. The counter runs on our own server, a.z29k.fr, hosted in France at Scaleway. Nobody else gets the measurement.
It writes nothing into your browser: no cookie, no local storage. It reads exactly one thing there: a flag we set on our own machines to keep from counting our own visits, and that does not exist on yours.
We record the page read, the site or search that brought you, your country, your browser, and clicks towards the payment page. We turn that into totals. The counter serves this site only.
As nothing is stored on your device, there is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse.
The advertising click identifier
If you arrive here from a Google ad, the page address carries a click identifier. We copy it into the links of the site, then into the order link, so that we know which ad brought an order.
The identifier is stored neither in a cookie nor in your browser’s local storage. It stays in the page address while you browse, and can therefore appear in your history. It is not a cookie: there is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse.
We pass it to Google only when an order is attributed to that advertising origin, at the moment payment is collected.
This measurement rests on our legitimate interest in knowing whether our ads are worth running. To object to it, write to us at contact@z29k.com or from the contact form.
